Revival, Homecoming, and Other Services
You are invited to revival services at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, located at 274 Artesian Drive in New Concord, Kentucky, April 26 through 29. Services are Sunday with Sunday School at 10 am, worship at 11 am, and evening service at 6 pm, and Monday through Wednesday at 7 pm each night. Special guest preacher Brother Jimmy Moise will be joined by Pastor Barry Downs.
The Blood River Baptist Association invites you to the “Revival Among Churches” taking place May 4th through the 8th. Services will begin nightly at 7:00 p.m. and will be hosted by a rotating group of local congregations, including Grace Baptist, Holly Hills, Owens Chapel, New Harmony, and Union Ridge. New Zion Baptist Church presents a community-wide Worship Night featuring Haley Jones on Saturday, June 20th. The “Wild Hearts for Christ: Horsewomen who Love Jesus” event will be held on Thursday, April 30th from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Panther Creek Equine Center located at 531 Bob Rd in Mayfield, KY. There will be a “Free Community Health Fair” on Saturday, May 2nd from 9:00 am–12:00 pm (with dental services available until 2:00 pm) at the Student Center of Heartland Church located at 4777 Alben Barkley Drive in Paducah, KY. There will be free health services including dental care, vision screenings, blood pressure checks, and other health screenings, as well as information and assistance for medical coverage and community resources. Free lunch and giveaways will be available, along with chances to win one of five Visa gift cards.
New Zion Baptist Church will host a special women’s ministry event, “For Such a Time as This,” on Saturday, May 16th. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the program features guest speaker Sara Rotemon and worship led by Angela Bowlin. Admission is just $5.00. Sugar Creek Baptist Church invites the community to a Cookout and Cruise-In on Saturday, June 6th, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Enjoy a day of fellowship, delicious food, and a display of classic cars. In the event of rain, the cruise-in will be moved to June 13th. Admission is free.

The “Indoor Yard Sale Fundraiser” event will be held on Saturday, April 25th from 8:00 am–2:00 pm at the Outreach Center of Highland Cumberland Presbyterian Church located at 3950 Lovelaceville Road in Paducah, KY. There will be furniture, clothing, household items, jewelry, tools, baked goods, and a rest area with coffee (for a donation) and treats available for purchase. This event will benefit the Stott-Wallace Missionary Fund.
The Way Christian Youth Center will be having its “Semi-Annual Yard Sale and Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser” on Saturday, May 2nd from 7:00 am–1:00 pm (with breakfast available until 10:00 am) at their facility located at 197 Lafayette St behind Trigg County Schools in Cadiz, KY. There will be thousands of items including furniture, kitchen appliances, and electronics, as well as baked goods and information about youth discipleship and job training. A full pancake breakfast with eggs and sausage will be available, along with many items offered on a “fair donation” basis.
The Blood River Baptist Association presents its annual Men’s Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 6th, at the Kentucky Dam Village Golf Course. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. This event raises support for Servant Harts, a ministry providing care to malnourished babies and mothers in Guatemala. To register your team, call (270) 437-4203.
